I know those years. I lived them. And I know that no one around you seemed to understand — because your hair wasn't like anyone else's in your family. It wasn't in the tutorials. It wasn't in the products marketed to you.

Yahweh did not make a mistake when He formed your coils. He did not miscalculate your curl pattern. He did not forget to give you hair that would behave. Every strand was intentional. Every curl was designed.

But somewhere along the way, we picked up products that weren't made for us. Techniques borrowed from hair that wasn't ours. We started fighting our own crowns instead of embracing them.

What if restoration starts with surrender?

Not surrender of effort — but surrender of striving. Surrender of figuring it all out alone. Surrender of carrying the burden of a crown that was never meant to be carried in our own strength.

Give God custody of your crown.

Trust that He who began this good work in you — in your hair, in your identity, in your purpose — is faithful to complete it. That restoration is available. That healing is real. That your crown, in His hands, can become what He always intended it to be.

We are building salons. Cosmetology schools. Beauty supply stores. An entire ecosystem of Black-owned beauty infrastructure — because this market has always belonged to us.
